In Photos: Dia de los Muertos in Mexico City’s Zocalo
MexicoReporter | Oct 31, 2008 | Comments 1
This weekend Mexico celebrates one of its most popular festivals – Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. Although that might sound rather morbid, the festival is actually a celebration of life. Mexicans build ofrendas in their homes and leave out food and drink for the returning spirits of their dead loved one.
Celebrations in Mexico City’s Zocalo are already well underway – go here for the full photo collection on Flickr.

Holà! I was in Mexico city on the 28th of October. I realy liked what I saw at the Zocalo. I especially love the space done by a group of artists from Coyoacan. I was wondering if you could help me get in contact with them. I can show you pictures if it would help you figure out wich one it was.
Thank you very much.
